User Owned and Managed

The County Attorney User Group owns and manages the MCAPS software package, a case management system designed for county and city attorneys. MCAPS is currently linked with the Minnesota Court Information System (MNCIS) and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) and we will be expanding the software to link with other systems. The user group works closely with the courts and BCA. The Minnesota County Attorneys Association (MCAA) is a member of MnCCC and represents the part-time attorneys using MCAPS throughout the state!

I’m very impressed with the web edition of MCAPS, it is so fast and can do so many great things! Some of my favorite things about the web edition are the date calculator and the revamped note tab within a case, where you can hover and see the full text of a note without having to open it. STI has been great to work with getting up and running and responding to questions. They are also very receptive to enhancement requests and review them frequently to make improvements to the program.
